We have reviewed the recent consumer report on synthetic braiding hair thoroughly and are proud to report that SLAYYY Hair does not include any of the known carcinogens that can be tied to cancer. 

SLAYYY Hair was created to disrupt the industry and the toxic options available to women of color that wear braids and protective styles. Despite years of escalating symptoms and the discomfort of users, the leading manufacturers have done very little if anything to address these challenges.  Furthermore, it is well-documented that the chemical composition of many brands can lead to adverse effects on users' scalps, including severe itching, redness, irritation, scabbing, and in extreme cases, hair loss.

Our team spent two years developing the technology behind our proprietary formula, that we affectionately call our “Secret SLAYYY Sauce”, that treats the synthetic fibers delivering an ITCH-FREE, softer, silkier, shinier and more lightweight braid remaining at an affordable price point.

We are proud of the strides we have made and will continue to offer our customers a safer, cleaner, better alternative.
